The 16th Annual Conference of Hernia Society of India i.e. HSICON 2022 in the Pink City Jaipur on 1st, 2nd & 3rd September 2022.?
The Science of Hernia is evolving for decades, however, there are still many doubts in the minds of Surgeons - how to choose the ideal procedure to deliver the best outcomes for patients from the simple conventional techniques like Bassini, Lichtenstein, Suture repair, Onlay repairs or recently developed TAPP, TEP, IPOM repairs or complex newer procedures like e-TEP, e-TEP RS, ACST, PCST - TAR, SCOLA, TARM, MILOS, TAPE etc. which are spreading like wildfire. And further, which Mesh to choose from the plethora available.

It is very important that we all work together, discuss scientific research and share our recent knowledge to further strengthen our resolve.
Hence the theme of the conference is aptly decided as "Evolution to Solution".?
So, there should be a loud & clear Take Home Message that conveys a clear idea of solutions in different scenarios.

About HSI
HSI is a 17-year-old premier surgical association and is the member society representing India in the Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS). During the last couple of COVID-challenged years, HSI has had to conduct most of its scientific activity as online events. These included several webinars organised during 2020-21 and subsequently conducted monthly “What’s in the case?” and “Insight into Innovations” sessions since late 2021.
