In this summit, a session of free papers on the theme of implementation research is being conducted, for which abstracts are invited;
About the IRIS 2022
ICMR-NIIRNCD, Jodhpur, Rajasthan is hosting this summit to discuss and showcase the importance of Implementation Research in the prevention & control of Non- Communicable Diseases in India. Central and State Government officials, Health functionaries, scientists, academicians and students are expected to attend this summit.
Objective
The objectives of this summit are as follows

To apprise the stakeholders at the policy making and planning level of the mandate of NIIRNCD and to take their guidance on future plans.

To forge a partnership with state governments and autonomous organizations to foster implementation research in India.

To establish a centre of excellence in communicable and non-communicable disease interface.
-
To create a platform for the presentation of research work in the field of Implementation Research in Health.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
The research work should be original and, either completed within the last 2 years or is ongoing.
The paper must contain substantial findings and may not be restricted to presentation of concept note or methodology.

Body of abstract should be under sub-headings of Introduction/Background,

Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusions.

Word limit for the abstract: 300 words.
Eligibility Criteria:
-
Presenting author should not be above the rank of Scientist-C/Assistant Professor/Under-Secretary.
-
Limited funding is available, on merit basis, up to INR 15000 to meet travelling and accommodation expenses for presenters of selected abstracts.
