Job Description:
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of production operators and technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Plan, organize, and monitor daily API production schedules to meet targets and deadlines, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines throughout the production process.
Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
Participate in the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
Ensure all production activities comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to ensure seamless operations.
Conduct performance reviews, provide training, and support the professional development of team members.
Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting key metrics and achievements.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
5-8 years of experience in API manufacturing, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of cGMP, EHS regulations, and other relevant pharmaceutical industry standards.
Proven experience in managing production processes, including batch manufacturing, purification, and drying.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
