Anaesthesia & OT Technician

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• prepares and maintains equipment, assists anesthesiologists and surgeons, monitors patients, and ensures a sterile operating theatre, handling everything from patient positioning and vitals monitoring to instrument sterilization and emergency response for safe surgical procedures, blending critical patient care with technical support.
• Set up and check anesthesia machines, prepare drugs/IVs, monitor patient vitals (ECG, BP, O2 Saturation), and assist with airway management (tubes, masks).
• Ensure the operating room is stocked, sterile, and functional (oxygen, suction, temp/humidity); sterilize instruments and manage consumables.
• Help surgeons during procedures, handle C-Arms, position patients, and maintain the sterile field.
• Prepare patients pre-op, transfer them to/from the OT, ensure comfort, and provide support during and after surgery.
• Maintain OT records, adhere to safety protocols (infection control, health & safety), and manage supplies.
