Job Description:

Responsibilities

• they ensure a sterile environment, record vital signs, and provide critical support throughout the life-saving blood-filtration process.
• Assemble dialyzers, tubing, and mix dialysate formulas. Primes the machine with saline or heparin and calibrates equipment pressures and temperatures.
• Verify patient identity, measure pre-dialysis vital signs, and clean access sites (fistula, graft, or catheter) using strict antiseptic protocols.
• Supervise blood flow rates, administer local anesthesia, and monitor the patient's vitals (blood pressure, pulse, respiration) continuously.
•  Immediately identify and resolve machine alarms, clotting issues, or adverse patient reactions (e.g., hypotension, cramping).
•  Record all treatment data in the patient's medical chart. Adhere to strict infection control and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate and maintain dialysis machines as per established protocols
• Monitor patients during dialysis treatment for any adverse reactions
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and supplies
• Record patient information, such as vital signs and treatment details
• Provide patient care and respond promptly to their needs
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and aftercare
• Conduct regular equipment checks and troubleshoot issues
• Coordinate with nurses and doctors to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the dialysis unit
