Provide outpatient (OPD) consultations for patients with heart disease, hypertension, heart?failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions.
Conduct clinical rounds in wards, CCU/ICU, and emergency services, and manage acute cardiac emergencies (acute MI, cardiogenic shock, unstable arrhythmias, etc.).
Order and interpret investigations such as ECG, 2D?echo, TMT, Holter, ambulatory BP, CT?angiography, and cardiac MRI as needed.
Perform or supervise cath?lab procedures (diagnostic angiography, angioplasty, device implantation) if the role is interventional?oriented.
Lead multidisciplinary teams including cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and nurses, and participate in conferences, audits, and quality?improvement activities.
Supervise junior doctors, residents, and trainees in cardiology and contribute to teaching, research, and guideline?based protocols.
Qualification & Experience
Super-speciality degree: DM in Cardiology or DrNB in Cardiology from a recognised university/medical council.
Licensing: Valid medical license to practice in the state/region where the hospital is located.
Experience: 2+ years of post?DM/DrNB experience in cardiology (clinical and/or interventional), depending on the hospital tier and seniority of the post.
