Senior Nurse - ICU

Job Description:

Responsibilities

•  Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions for ICU patients
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, and respond promptly to any changes in their condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Supervise and support junior nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements and best practices
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in critical care nursing

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state or province of practice
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on ICU settings
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations
