Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Clinical Supervision
• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor patient care delivery to ensure compliance with clinical standards and policies.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses in managing complex patient care situations.
• Assist in resolving clinical and operational issues.
• Staff Management
• Assign duties and schedules to nursing personnel.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
• Participate in recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and coordinate shift coverage.
• Quality & Patient Safety
• Promote patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor adherence to infection control, medication administration, and patient care protocols.
• Investigate incidents, complaints, and adverse events and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Operational Management
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
• Manage resources, supplies, and equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians, department heads, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Communication & Leadership
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and management.
• Conduct shift briefings and staff meetings.
• Support conflict resolution and foster a positive work environment.
• Lead emergency response and crisis management activities when required.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
