Job Description:

Responsibilities    

• Prepare the Cath Lab before procedures by arranging instruments, catheters, guidewires, stents, and consumables.
• Assist cardiologists during procedures such as:
• Coronary Angiography (CAG)
• Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA/PCI)
• Temporary and Permanent Pacemaker Implantation
• Peripheral Angiography and Angioplasty
• Device Closure Procedures
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging systems, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and related devices.
• Monitor ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and other vital parameters throughout procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques, infection control, and radiation safety protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure support.
• Assist in emergency cardiac interventions, including STEMI and code situations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, procedure documentation, and equipment logs.
• Coordinate inventory management and ensure availability of consumables and emergency supplies.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
• Participate in rotational shifts, on-call duties, weekends, and emergency coverage as required
