Occupational Therapist-Neuro Rehabilitation

Job Description:

Responsibilities    

• Holistic approach to patients needs.
• Part of inter disciplinary team to assess, plan and implement rehabilitation program in hospital.
• Liaise with other professionals such as doctors, physiotherapist, social workers, equipment suppliers, families & carers.
• Keep up-to-date with written and electronic records.
• Attend interdisciplinary case conferences.
• Monitor outcome measures.
• Use conventional therapy, computer aided and robotic rehabilitation tools to maximize patient independence including A.D.L training.
• Contribute to analysis, planning audit and development of clinical services.
• Train students and supervise work of therapy assistants.
• Manage case load and prioritizing patient needs.
• Advice on home and workplace environment
• Help in smooth community integration and return to work.

Qualification & Experience

• Experience 1 to 2 years of experience
• Qualification Masters in Occupational Therapy
• Consultant – Neuro Rehabilitation
