Associate Consultant/ Consultant – Endocrinology

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Conduct OPD consultations and inpatient rounds.
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, and hormonal assessments.
• Manage insulin therapy and advanced diabetic care protocols.
• Provide emergency endocrine care when required.
• Coordinate with physicians, surgeons, intensivists, nephrologists, cardiologists, and dieticians for integrated patient care.
• Educate patients regarding disease management, lifestyle modifications, diet, exercise, and medication adherence.
• Counsel diabetic patients on insulin administration, glucose monitoring, and preventive care.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and ethical medical practice.
