Job Description:

Responsibilities

• To provide expert mental health care to patients with psychiatric disorders across all age groups. 
• To diagnose, treat and manage mental illnesses through pharmacological, psychotherapeutic and rehabilitative interventions.
• Provide both IP/OP care including acute crisis management and long term mental health care
• Develop and implement personalised care plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and nurses to deliver holistic mental health care.
• Manage psychiatric emergencies including acute psychosis, suicidal tendencies and aggression.
• Provide counselling to families to help them understand and support the patient's mental health journey.
