Pharmacist

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret inpatient medication orders prescribed by doctors
• Dispense correct medications with proper dosage, route, and timing
• Ensure accuracy in medication preparation, labeling, and distribution
• Maintain strict compliance with hospital protocols and pharmacy regulations
• Monitor drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications (in coordination with clinical team)
• Coordinate with nurses and doctors regarding medication changes or clarifications
• Maintain stock of inpatient medicines and ensure timely replenishment
• Track controlled drugs and maintain legal documentation as per regulations
• Ensure proper storage conditions for all medicines (temperature, expiry, etc.)
• Maintain daily dispensing records and pharmacy documentation
