Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Cognitive Clinical Management
• Perform and document pre- anesthetic checkup
• Formulate anesthetic plan of care
• Obtain and document informed consent
• Order appropriate investigations
• Interpret hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients
• Interpret laboratory & radiology results
• Orders transfusions of blood and blood products
• Order appropriate medication and other orders
• Maintenance of anaesthesia record
• Adherence to protocols & checklists
• Clinical Non-invasive Management
• Perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
• Anesthetic plan of care in cardiac, Neuro paediatric patients and in ASA II and above
• Participation in teaching and academic activities both intradepartment & interdepartment
• Clinical Invasive Management
• Performs arterial puncture
• Inserts central venous catheter
• Performs oral endotracheal intubation
• Performs nasogastric intubation
• Administer regional anesthesia
• Administer general anesthesia
• Administer general anaesthesia for cardiac, paediatric & neuro surgery patients & in ASA G II and above patients*
