Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Transcribe dictated Nuclear Medicine reports, including PET-CT, SPECT-CT, Bone Scan, Thyroid Scan, Renal Scan, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, and radionuclide therapy reports. 
• Edit and proofread reports generated through speech-recognition software for accuracy and completeness. 
• Ensure correct usage of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, radiopharmaceutical names, and nuclear medicine abbreviations. 
• Verify patient demographics, clinical history, investigation details, and report formatting before final submission.
• Maintain turnaround time (TAT) as per departmental standards.
• Coordinate with Nuclear Medicine physicians regarding unclear dictations, missing information, or report corrections.
