Senior Resident - Dermatology

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Assess patients that enter the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patient’s recovery. ABC approach in all sick patients.
• ATLS approach in trauma patients.
• To undertake the role of an On duty Emergency physician and shift incharge and supervise the junior and interns. Encourage bedside teaching parallelly wherever appropriate.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patient’s condition.
• To attend morning rounds and take a handover from the night shift Emergency Physician.
• Request the appropriate medical tests based on which the treatment plan will be followed.
• Develop effective patient care plans.
• Actively participate in training sessions of the department for staff and juniors.
• Refer patients to the appropriate specialists and consultants where indicated after doing appropriate evaluation from emergency.
• Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.
• Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.
• Maintain the patient’s medical records.

Qualification & Expeirence

• Qualification : MD - Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy (Skin)
• Experience : Fresher
