Responsibilities Lead a team of scientists for analytical characterization of biosimilars - monospecific and bispecific monoclonal antibodies (Mabs), Fabs, non-Mabs and their pegylated versions.  Prepare work plan, review data and reports with required quality for regulatory submissions including in US/EU/AUS etc.  Respond to queries from various regulatory agencies to support product approval.  Support the clone development, process development teams at various stages to select the right clone, design the process as well as method development for CQAs, in-process analysis and characterization tests Managing the resources- planning, procurement, maintenance, qualifications, licenses etc. Experience in Biosimilar protein analysis including lot release and characterization test method development, qualification and transfer to QC. Hands on experience expected in HPLC based method development and qualification for Size, reverse phase, charge variant, hydrophobic variants, Glycan etc. analysis.  Should be able to review data of teammates, draw proper conclusions and troubleshoot.  Should be well versed with different detectors used for analysis of proteins. Hands on experience in Capillary gel electrophoresis will be desirable.  Understanding on QTPP, setting up of specifications, handling reference product, internal reference standards would be desirable. Familiarity with QAMS like change control, deviation, OOS, LIRs, laboratory investigations would be an added advantage.     Qualifications & Experience Relevant work experience - ≥ 15 years for master's and ≥ 10 years for PhD. Education Qualification - Masters in Biological Sciences with ≥15 years/ PhD with ≥10 years of experience in analysis of biosimilars/recombinant proteins, impurities, and variants thereof.
