Each treatment sheet should be dated, named and signed by the writing doctor. Doctors should refer to the progress notes while writing treatment sheets. To assist the Consultants for rounds apart from taking independent rounds themselves and should follow up the patients for any further care (change in plan of Treatment). Required to accompany Consultants for rounds and taking notes as required Preparing the discharge summary. Being responsible for assessment of the new patients admitted. Required to follow the on-call and duty rota based on the department’s requirement. ResponsibilitiesProvide complete emergency care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, stabilization, and discharge for all emergency cases. Manage daily operations of the Emergency Department in accordance with hospital standards and protocols. Collaborate with specialists and update treating consultants on referred and EMS cases. Guide and supervise junior emergency physicians in clinical, administrative, and teaching activities. Ensure strict compliance with departmental policies, infection control practices, and accurate documentation. Oversee EMS and ambulance services, ensuring effective coordination and high-quality pre-hospital care. Participate in community awareness programs, research activities, training sessions, and continuing medical education (CME) programs.
