This hands-on training workshop will include modules for Basics of flow cytometry, Cancer stem cell assay, Immunophenotyping and Data Analysis in Flow Cytometry. The Department of Biochemistry at AIIMS, Jodhpur announces hands-on training workshop entitled “Animal Cell Culture Workshop: 2022”. The hands-on training workshop will include modules for important cell culture techniques related to cell line maintenance, passaging, cell counting, cryopreservation and revival, extraction of nucleic acid and proteins, Real-Time PCR, Western blot, cell-cycle analysis, and Flow cytometry analysis. Participants from academic institutions from all over the country are encouraged to apply.   Date of Event: 18th April to 23rd April 2022   Eligibility This workshop is primarily intended for early career researchers including doctoral, MD and M.Sc. Students and Faculty involved in cell culture research using mammalian cell lines from academic institutions.   Registration Fee PG/PhD Students: Rs. 7000/- Faculty/Residents: Rs. 10,000/- *The registration fee (non-refundable) will have to be paid online by selected participants within 10 days.   Travel, Food, Accommodation Participants will have to make their own arrangement for travel and food. ICMR-National Institute of Medical Statistics, New Delhi is organizing a two-day virtual workshop on Statistical Methods in Clinical Trials scheduled to be held on March 07 to 08.   About ICMR-NIMS ICMR-National Institute of Medical Statistics is one of the permanent institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research, (ICMR), New Delhi which came into existence in the year 1977. The mandate of the institute is to support development, application and dissemination of statistical science throughout India in the areas of health, epidemiology and surveillance, biomedical and behavioral research through technical consultation and statistical services, education and training,research and advocacy, mathematical modelling and programme evaluation.
