National Entrance Screening Test, commonly known as NEST, is a national-level computer-based exam for admission to the five years integrated M.Sc program in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai jointly conducts NEST exam once a year for admission to the five years integrated M.Sc program in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. It is a computer-based test. The question paper will be available in English and Hindi language. Candidates should have passed Class 12. Candidates who have appeared for their Class 12 exams in 2022 are also eligible to apply. Candidates should have studied a combination of three subjects - Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in Classes 11 and 12.   NEST 2026 Eligiblity Criteria The candidates who have cleared the 12th Standard examination or equivalent in 2022, 2023 or those who will be appearing for the 12th Standard examination or equivalent in 2024, irrespective of category and age, will be considered to be eligible for admission to the Integrated M.Sc. programme of NISER/CEBS in 2024. At least 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) in Class XII examination from any recognized Board in India. NIPER JEE 2024, or the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Exam, is a computer-based exam for postgraduate courses in MPharm, MTech (Pharm), MBA (Pharm) PhD in pharmacy. INI CET is the abbreviation for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi conducts the entrance test for admission to PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh). INI CET scores are valid for admission to 10 AIIMS including AIIMS Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Nagpur, Raipur, and Rishikesh, Bathinda, Bibinagar, as well as NIMHANS Bengaluru, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum. With effect from 2021, all these institutes will admit PG students on the basis of the marks obtained in the INI CET exam only. Earlier these 14 institutes used to conduct separate exams for admission to PG courses.
