ResponsibilitiesOversee daily nursing operations across IPD / OT / Critical Care units. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, NABH standards, and patient safety guidelines. Supervise and mentor nursing staff to maintain high standards of care. Manage duty rosters, manpower planning, and performance monitoring. Coordinate with Consultants, Clinical Administrators, and other departments. Monitor quality indicators, infection control practices, and patient satisfaction. Handle escalations and ensure timely grievance resolution. Qualification & ExperienceExperience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Nursing (At least 5-7 years in a Senior / Leadership role mandatory) Qualification: GNM / Post B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Nursing (Preferred)

Qualification & ExperienceEligibility: Ph.D. in Life Sciences with 2-3 years' research experience (ICMR/DBT/DST/CSIR or equivalent) and expertise in human physiological monitoring, molecular biology, cell culture and related techniques.

ResponsibilitiesA professional approach must be adapted with all patients, staff and visitors. To provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during hours of duty and work in conjunction with the other specialties to serve the institute. Follow all Clinical safety, hygiene, infection control protocols to be adhered to (eg wearing gloves when required, aprons, hand hygiene, etc). Required to and be available to see patients when required or when requested. Required to assist the Consultants in the operation theatre and to assist in surgeries under supervision of Consultants. Required to be skilled and knowledgeable enough to identify the complex surgical problems, and take appropriate action in case of emergency with due approvals / permission by treating Consultant. Required to participate and contribute to in Classroom and bedside teaching programs for postgraduate students and RMOs. Required to identify the complex health problems and report immediately to the concerned doctor. Required to supervise Post graduate students; however, the attending physician is ultimately responsible for the care of the patient. Supervise daily clinical management of all patients in conjunction with the PG students, nurse team leaders and under the guidance of Consultants. Should be able to prescribe pain management medicines if need be. Effective communication with patients, family, colleagues and other health care workers. Treatment sheets are to be with diagnosis in capital letters. Each treatment sheet should be dated, named and signed by the writing doctor.
